The Ultimate Healing

By Patricia Partney Dascher Leave a Comment

Ultimate Healing
The Ultimate Healing
Sometimes we pray and pray for healing, but our loved one dies. ” Why didn’t God answer our prayers? Was it because we didn’t have enough faith? Did we do something wrong?”
In reality God gave the ultimate of healing, for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Each day we are on this earth we are in the process of dying. It isn’t until we leave these fragile bodies that we will know what it is like to really live. Once we are with HIM we will be forever in process of living. We will be given new bodies that will never grow old. We will live in a place filled with love. A place where there is no competition, hate, anger, or selfishness. Our deepest longings for love, acceptance and security will be met. The love of God will encompass our hearts, minds and lives totally. We will walk in the garden with Him once again and be embraced by His love. There will be no misunderstandings and we will no longer need to cover up anything. We will be completely known and completely loved…..
I had a vision of few months ago in which God opened the door to the Garden of Eden to me. He said, ” I want you to eat of the tree of life.”
“Oh no,” I thought. “He kicked Adam and Eve out of the garden so they would not eat of the tree of life and live forever in a sinful state.”
In the vision I was suddenly taken to the tree of life. As I looked up I heard these words, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
Then I heard, “Take eat, this is my body which was broken for you. Do this and remember ME. Drink, this is the blood of the new covenant poured out for your sins.”
Jesus is the tree of LIFE. When we take Him into our lives we receive eternal life. He becomes a part of us and we receive His righteousness. When Adam and Eve ate of the apple they ate of the devil’s lies and became a part of Satan’s kingdom which ends in death. When we eat of the Tree of Life which is Jesus Christ we become a part of the Kingdom of God which is love, joy, peace, truth, power, compassion and holiness, the true beginning of life. He promises, “Because I live, you shall live also.” Jesus is the resurrection. If you have not eaten of the tree of life, what are you waiting for?We have already eaten of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Most of us know the bitterness of that  fruit. Our loving Father is calling us to eat of the tree of life.
Come to the garden with me. Reach up to Jesus and let Him show you the way to eternal life. He will wash away the bondage’s and sins of your past with the blood of His sacrifice and fill you with His love and truth.

Heart Transplant, by Gary Boring

By Patricia Partney Dascher Leave a Comment

I received the 491st heart transplant at St. Luke’s Hospital. A special THANK YOU to all our Friends and Family. Remember the exciting adventure of belonging to Jesus Christ? I remember how I came to invite Jesus into my heart? Giving my heart to Christ was the most serious and sobering question in my life. I searched my heart and motives before crying out for a personal relationship with a Loving Savior. I remember the doubts wondering if I would really belong to HIM. Would I respond to His authority and acknowledge His ownership. Would I find freedom and complete fulfillment by giving my life to Christ? Would I have a sense of purpose and deep contentment under the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ? Could I rest and trust in Him? Answering my cry for help, the Holy Spirit filled me with wisdom from His Word. Wisdom of our God erases all doubt.
The life God has had for me is far more exciting and adventurous than anything I could imagine. My receiving the 491st heart transplant at St. Luke’s Hospital was another great answer to prayer. Thank you for all your prayers. You my brothers and sisters in Christ were able to share in something bigger than ourselves. My faith grew as I drew closer to my living God and felt His presence. My relationship with my true Father, the family of Christ and my family at home is what I cherish more than this new heart. The transplant was a way God showed all of us how He wants a personal, daily relationship with us. He keeps knocking at our hearts door. Do we let Him in daily? Psalms 91:3-4. He covers us with His wings and we are safe in His care; His faithfulness protects and defends us.
With all our love,
Gary and Sandy

Our Mission

Our mission comes from Isaiah 61. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. The Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. To heal the brokenhearted, set the captive free and comfort all who mourn. To give beauty for ashes and the oil of gladness instead of mourning. And the garment of praise instead of the spirit of despair.”
