To My Dearest Children and Grandchildren,
I have wanted to tell you the true story, of Easter for a long time, but I didn’t know
if you would understand it until now. This is what really happened and why the whole
world has celebrated Easter since that glorious day.
Once upon a time there was a great and mighty King. He was the King of all kings and the creator of everything. Trillions served Him because He was perfect in all His ways. His Kingdom was greater than all kingdoms and filled with love, light and joy. The Sun never went down in His Kingdom because it was lit with His Glory.
But there was one thing that did break that great King’s heart. He had made a man and a woman
in His own image, that could make choices, who were smart and could communicate with Him. He loved
them as His own children. Just as I love you my precious children and grandchildren. For you are made in my image and are a part of me.
He knew when He made them that the evil one would come to tempt them.
And He knew that they would be deceived and trapped by the evil one. Nevertheless, He made the man and woman,
walked with them and talked with them in the evening. There was great joy as He shared His amazing
thoughts with His children. And the man and woman listened to His thoughts as He listened to theirs.
But on that terrible day, when the man and woman were deceived by the evil one, they had to
leave the Kingdom their King had built for them. Then they lived in a kingdom that was ruled by the evil
one; where pain was great and deception was always around. There was jealousy and rage so bad that a
brother killed his own brother out of jealousy. They no longer understood the greatlove ofthe King for
they were separated from Him by the lies ofthe evil one. There were murders, drug, suicide, divorce,
hate and death. They even killed their own babies thinking the infants were too much trouble. The
found other kings to talk to and didn’t care what the King of AD kings thought.
The sadness of the King was so great the heaven’s wept as they watched His broken heart. The
King knew what He had to do to set the people of His own image free from the evil one. He must go to
them as one of them, living a life totally free from the evil ones deception. Yet He must be tempted and
lied to just as they had been. He must have a human body and know pain, just as any other human.
He came to earth and was born as an innocent baby. He grew up just as those he created had
grown up. And He had to learn just as His creation had to learn. He learned that there was a world of
spirit that the human eye could not see. He learned that there was a good spirit, the spirit of the great
King and there was an evil spirit. They both talked to Him. The young man was actually the King in a
human body. He tried to tell the people of the love of their Creator. Many followed Him. He grew to
love His creation even more. He was called, “Josh”.
There was spontaneous Pete who loved Josh. Pete was open, honest and real. AD the emotions of
man were in him because Josh walked and talked as any other man in a human body. He didn’t know
that the great King of all creation was within Josh. Josh said to Pete, “Throw out your nets and you will
catch many fish.”
Love, Gramma Pat
